Groove Expedition Title Badge The Chase

The lyrical version of The Chase is complete. To me, the music that turned into the instrumental version was like a 70s surf guitar car chase movie soundtrack. It had a dark side to it that I wanted to focus on, so I wrote the lyrics as a mysterious narrative about driving after someone. While writing, an image that came to mind was a scene in Mad Max where Mel Gibson’s character is roaring down a seemingly endless road in the middle of the desert. The camera is in front of the car, and you just see his head and hands, and he’s weary, but totally determined.

I’ve also been making site edits to compensate for my hosting company’s slow service. I can tell this will be an ongoing process as I experiment with web code and software, plus investigate other hosting options.
