It’ll be All Right, Take Three Today I’ve uploaded the third and final version of “It’ll be All Right.” The original was simply guitar, bass and a drum loop, with an island sound that didn’t go well with my current set list. For the second version, I kept the rhythm the same, but changed the instruments to the rock guitar and synthesizer sounds that I’m using now. Unfortunately, the rhythm no longer matched with the instruments, so I went back to the studio for a third version.
This time, I changed the strum pattern of the rhythm guitar, the bass line, and the percussion to have a more rock sound. I added a synth pad to the background, and then I play a synth lead as an arpeggio during the chorus. I also improved the lyrics of the first verse, and changed the chorus from “walking” the road to being “lost” on it, since “walking” no longer fit with the new sound.
As for the lyrics, it’s about being pushed away by someone, then feeling lost and trying to work your way back to them.
